We offer Counseling for New Mothers or Struggling Mothers. Being a mom can be hard and especially being a new mom. After the initial excitement wears off, you may find yourself weighed down by exhaustion, changing relationship roles, and anxiety.
Through the years of professional experience working within the mental health community – both in and outpatient environments – I have developed specific tools and will implement scientifically proven interventions to assist you, your family, and/or the support system around you in the major transition of being a new Mom. We will work together to identify, evaluate, plan, and facilitate a supportive, progressive, and self-propelling pathway to becoming your best self and the best mom you can be!
I offer counseling for mothers sessions, both in-person and on the phone. We will start with an initial assessment to clearly define your short and long-term goals towards motherhood, your anxiety levels, and the best treatment for you specifically. We will examine everything from communication skills to personal acceptance. We will use these goals as a foundation to create a strategy for attaining these objectives. Identifying barriers and opportunities through self-discovery leads to fulfilling the client’s objectives. By not only seeking clarity but understanding how to do it effectively and authentically, you can use it as a compass as you navigate through creating your own pathways and being the best mom you can be.
Create Pathways Counseling utilizes a novel empowerment model that encourages and allows for client-driven proactivity in setting goals. As a counselor, I work with a wide range of clients, couples, and families and offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each individual circumstance. Personal and lifestyle counseling and psychotherapy utilizes individualized models designed to assist clients in initiating, imagining, preparing for, and homing in on existing resources.
